NOMLA will be holding a final registration date on March 4 from 11 – 2pm at SUNVALLEY SOURCE FOR SPORTS.
You can pick up and drop off your registration forms at any of the drop off locations during their business hours.
REMEMBER any registrations received after March 15 will not be guaranteed a spot and will be put on a waiting list.

IMPORTANT 2012 Season Information
Attention Box Lacrosse Players:
Registration is now underway and all returning players should register before March 15. ANY registration received after this date will be placed on a waiting list. This is new this season, because our league is starting earlier, it is crucial that we have our registration completed in time, and cannot guarantee spots for late registrations.
NOMLA will be at The Sports Store on Sunday February 12 from 10 – 2 accepting registration and a late registration date on March 4 from 11 – 2 at Sun Valley Sports in Vernon. Remember, if you register before Feb 25 your name goes into a draw to win your registration fee!
Evaluation dates will be held at the HASSEN Arena as follows:
Saturday March 24 – 11 – 3pm
11 – 12 – Novice
12 – 1 – Peewee
1 – 2 – Bantam
2 – 3 – Midget
Tuesday March 27
5 – 6 – Peewee
6 – 7 – Midget
Wednesday March 28
5 – 630 – Bantam
We understand that this is during spring break and some families may be away. If you are unable to make these times, please be sure to let NOMLA Coaching Coordinator Kelly Olsen know.
As you may have heard, our league will be played this season in a house format, meaning that all teams will be balanced. NOMLA will also be forming provincial teams in Peewee/Bantam/Midget. More information for players interested in trying out for provincial teams will be provided in the first week of April.

OFFICIAL RECRUITMENT
North Okanagan Minor Lacrosse is now recruiting referees for the 2012 box season. It is a great way to get involved in the game and earn some extra money!
If you are interested in becoming a referee, please contact NOMLA’s head referee Braden Barr at 250-545-5969.
Our Official’s Certification Clinic will be April 1, 2012 at OUC from 9am – 4pm. Please contact Braden Barr to register.

Registration Days in Armstrong and Vernon
There will be a registration table set up at Askew’s grocery store located at #8 – 3305 Smith Drive in Armstrong on January 29 from 10am – 2pm. There will also be a bbq with all proceeds going to our field lacrosse teams who will be travelling to Victoria for provincials at the end of February.
There will be a registration table set up at The Sports Store located at 4412 27 St Vernon on February 12 from 10am – 2pm.
Remember NOMLA offers 50% off registration fees to brand new players, and if you register before February 28 you will have the chance to win free registration.
If you are registering a brand new player, please bring a photocopy of the player’s birth certificate and care card with you to register. Any brand new box player will received a free lacrosse head from the Sports Store!
It is NOMLA’s belief that no child should be excluded because of financial bariers. For information on funding available and financing of payments, please contact the registrar.
